Funeral services for Mrs. Dessie Eller Rouse, age 56, of Norfork, who died last Thursday afternoon at her home, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 in the Norfork Church of Christ.
Bro. Jimmy Adams officiated.
Mrs. Rouse, a lifetime resident of Baxter County, was born at Norfork on December 6, 1901. Her parents were the late Dow Hager and Mrs. Lou Ellen Hager. She was married on July 19, 1920, to O.M. Rouse.
She was a member of the Church of Christ, having joined at the age of 14 years.
Survivors include her husband O.M. Rouse of the home; two sons, Don Rouse of Mt. Home and Dean Rouse of Norfork; a brother Henry Hager of Norfork; five sisters, Mrs. Alice Bonds of Mammoth Spring, Mrs. Elsa Stark of Thayer, MO and Mrs. Chesale Wadkins, Mrs. Albania Harvey and Mrs. Maude Parnell, all of Norfork; and one grandchild.
Interment was in the Norfork Cemetery. Roller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
