Mrs Charity Lillian Harvell age 78 of Melbourne died Tuesday morning in a Little Rock hospital. She was born in Bly, Mo.
She is survived by her husband, Louis A. Harvell of the home; one son, Menard Harvell of Melbourne; one daughter, Mrs Mamie Craig of Mt. Pleasant; two brothers, Bill Matthews of Muskogee, Okla., and Neil Matthews of Batesville; four sisters, Mrs Annie McGoldrick of Pontiac, Mich., Mrs Grace Sims of Newark, Mrs Daisy Economakis of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs May Bowers of Muskogee, Okla.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jewell Harvell Qualls and one son, Delbert Harvell.
The funeral service will be Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock in the PineGroveChurch, Rev. Owen Harvell, Rev. Lonnie Clark, Rev. Hoover Lewis and Rev. J. W. Roach will officiate. Burial will be in Reeves Cemetery by Crouch Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Louis Adkisson, Allen Hamm, Delmus Martin, Alfred Twillery, Ira Harvell and Truman Humphrey.
