Mrs. T. L. McPherson, 80, of Rt. 5, El Dorado, died Wednesday night in a local hospital following a long illness. Born Aug. 9, 1888, at McKinney, Tex., she was the daughter of Alva A. and Margrett Wolcott. She had lived in Union County for the past 16 years and was a member of the Rhodes Chapel Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James C. Rushing, El Dorado; one son, Forrest McPherson, Stuttgart; a sister, Mrs. Kate McAnall, Dallas, Tex.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Rhodes Chapel Church with the Rev. Ralph Mann officiating and with the Rev. Jene Pritchard assisting. Burial will follow in the Rhodes Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bill Frisby, Akin Rushing, Jack Hayes, John E. Cox, Doyle Gates and Miller Rushing.
