Albert T. Brown, 65 years old, living three miles south of Rogers on the old Holt place, was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage about noon yesterday while driving from Rogers to his home and died a few minutes after he was found and taken to his home. Mr. Brown had been transacting business in Rogers and left here near noon. The young lady who makes her home with "Aunt" Emeline Johnson saw the horse belonging to Mr. Brown coming down the road and seeing no one in the buggy she went out to stop the horse, thinking that Mr. Brown had left the buggy and the horse had started for home. When she neared the buggy she saw Mr. Brown slumped down on the floor of the buggy. She summoned Mr. Brown's brother from their home nearby and they succeeded in getting the stricken man to his home where he died a few minutes later. A doctor, summoned when Mr. Brown was first found, reached the home in a few minutes but not before Mr. Brown's death. Albert T. and Edward E. Brown came here about a year ago from Steubenville, Ohio and bought the farm on which they have since been living. Neither brother is married. Surviving Mr. Brown are two brothers, Edward E. of Rogers; William B. of Hot Springs, Ark.; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna M. Bodien, Bulleton, Calif. and Mrs. Emma S. Grovey of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will be held at the grave in Rogers cemetery Saturday, October 20th at 10 o'clock. Funeral arrangements are in charge of J.W. Bryant.
