GEORGE STROMME BURIED TODAY
Rogers, Sept. 22 -- Funeral service for George Samuel Stromme, retired oil field worker living two miles north of Rogers, was held Wednesday afternoon at the Burns Funeral home at Bentonville, conducted by Rev. Conner Morehead, pastor of the Rogers Central Methodist church. Burial was in the Oakley Chapel cemetery west of Rogers. Mr. Stromme died late Monday night.
Mr. Stromme, a native of Waterville, Iowa, was born 63 years ago of Swedish parents. He was married at Stillwater, Okla., Feb. 21, 1916 to Miss Pearl Snyder. The family came to Arkansas eight years ago.
Surviving are his widow, a son, Ben C. Stromme, and daughter, Pearl Barbara Stromme at home, a sister, Mrs. Ida Jones of Chicago, and two brothers, Martin of Burlington, Kan., and Carl of Elkader, Iowa.
