The area of Turkey Pen Cemetery of today was once a busy and pleasant community. The Church, school and cemetery were named Pleasant Hill. This is a picture of the old Pleasant Hill Church located near where Turkey Pen Cemetery is located. This picture was taken 18 August 1938. Thanks to Fred Sitz we are able to save this picture and other material about the Church, School and cemetery, to our website to remind us of this community. Fred says he is kin to most of the people in the cemetery.
