1894 - 1954
Mable Hidy, 60, died suddenly of a heart attack at the home of her mother in El Dorado Monday night at 7:30 p.m. She was a practical nurse at the Ouachita county hospital here but was in El Dorado on private duty at the time of her death. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church here and had been emploed as a nurse at the Camden hospital for seven years before going to the new hospital. Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Mogle McTildy of El Dorado one son, Don Hidy of California; one twin sister Myrtle Westfall; of Evansville Indiana and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Rumph Funeral Home in El Dorado with the Rev. Kermit Neal of Camden officiating. Nurses of Camden and El Dorado are to be among the pall bearers.
