John Michael Kisor, 69, of Wesley, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. He was born on October 18, 1955, in Fullerton, California, to J. L. and Virginia May Ledbetter Kisor.
Mike was a devoted father to his two daughters, Hannah and Kristen. He was a dedicated member of Drakes Creek Regular Baptist Church and worked for Arkansas Western Gas Company.
Mike found joy in the simple pleasures of life, being outdoors, fishing, watching or playing sports. A proud supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs, he also had a knack for fixing things, always ready to lend a helping hand. Above all, Mike cherished his daughters, his granddaughter, and the close bond he shared with his siblings.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, J. L. and Virginia Kisor, and one sister, Peggy Robinson. He is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Hannah and Paolo Battistelli of Vasto, Italy, and Kristen and Grant Hier, and one granddaughter, Meadow Hier of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Pam and John Bickel of Brea, California, and Sandy Camp of Wesley; along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Drakes Creek Regular Baptist Church, with John Napier officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Kisor, Tom Ledbetter, Paolo Battistelli, Grant Hier, John Bickel, Chace Usery, and Gavin Usery.
Cremation is entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
