Mrs. Queen Easter Spaight, 91, of Lake Village, AR died Friday, November 30, 2018 at her residence in Lake Village. She was a lifelong resident of Lake Village, a homemaker, and a member of Second Baptist Church in Lake Village.

She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Martin, Jr. in June of 2018; her parents, Wesley and Georgia Coleman-Spaight; four sisters, Corean Jones, Namie Tolliver, Julia Ervin, and Lille Alexander; two brothers, John H. Spaight, and Wesley Spaight. Queen was a devoted mother and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking and sewing.

She is survived by one son, Bernard Martin, of Jacksonville, AR; three daughters, Barbara Dixon, Marva Martin, and Mary Evans, husband James, all of Lake Village, AR; one brother, Cleveland Spaight, of Twentynine Palms, CA; seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Service will be Saturday, December 8, 2018, 2:00 P.M., at Second Baptist Church in Lake Village, AR, with Rev. Larry Miller and Rev. J.F. Redman, Jr. officiating. Active Pallbearers are Henry Tucker, John H. Williams, Dan Franklin, Shannon Williams, Travis Dixon, Roderick Williams. Honorary Pallbearers are Melvin Jones, Devlin Evens, Deyvon King, Raymond Williams, MacArthur Jones, Billy Jones, John H. Spate, Fred Green, James Evens, Benard Martin, Cleveland Spaight, Curley Jones, Lloyd Howard, and Rashaun Taylor. Burial will be in Little Greenland Cemetery under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home Inc. of Hamburg, AR.
