Earl Digby, 63, of Newport, Arkansas, died April 3, 2020 at Harris Hospital in Newport. He was born August 17, 1956 at Hayti, Missouri the eldest son of Ella Waits (Warren) and Eugene Holmes. Mr. Digby was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Newport where he served as an ordained deacon. He was also a member of the Federated Choir of Newport.
He is survived by his mother, Ella Mae Waits; son, Jamie Lee Timothy; daughters, Shawndra Morris, Ella Mae Digby, Valentina Digby, and Saesha Livington; two sisters, Dorothy Holmes and Cassie Hudson; as well as ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Holmes; brothers, Michael Smith, John Henry Smith, and Harvey Smith; as well as one sister, Iris Ann.
