Robert B. Black, age 62, of Bluff City died in a Prescott hospital Tuesday at 1 p.m.. Mr. Black was a member of the Presbyterian Church, a member of the Masonic lodge, and has been postmaster at Bluff City for the past 16 years. He is survived by his wife; two sons: Woodrow Black of Little Rock, Harland Black of Dumont, N.J.; two sisters; Mrs. Dovie Harris of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Verda Johnson of Texarkana; six brothers, Clyde Black of Cullendale, Penny Black of Sulphur Springs, Texas; Tracy Black of Malvern, Romey and Berry of California, and Roy of Texarkana. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Baptist church in Bluff City. Burial in Bluff City cemetery. Active pallbearers: Tommy Kirk, W. O. Wingfield, Herbert Knight, Bob Knight, Gerald Carter, Imon Wilson. Honorary pallbearers: William Morgan, Denton Starnes, Bill Nichols, Ed Harvey, C. C. Harvey, Dave Crowell, Robert DeWoody, Luke Carter, Joe Meadows, Andy Meadows, Lealas Walthall, and Johnny Starnes. (Camden News - June 28, 1950 )
