Funeral services for Stanley Binko, 51 of 2456 Chidester Rd., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Proctor's Chapel. Mr. Binko, a former manager of the Camden Country Club, died Sunday night at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was a veteran of 24 years active service with the U. S. Marines, and was a prisoner of war during World War II. He owned and operated Stan's Grocery on Chidester Rd, and was a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Melba Booker Binko; one son, Michael Binko of Camden; two brothers, Henry and Fred Binko; three sisters, Mrs. Stella Santee, Mrs. Helen Bick, and Mrs. Joyce Geller, all of St. Louis, Missouri. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery. (Camden News - October 12, 1971)
