Jackie Clarence Harris, age 82, of Lowell, died May 18, 2015, at his home. He was born in Gentry County, Missouri, on August 24, 1932, to the late David Clarence and Mary Astoria (Gross) Harris.
Jackie served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. He raised cattle and coached and umpired Babe Ruth Baseball in Rogers for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Elsie Irene (Shrum) Harris; sons, Eddie Harris of Avoca, Jackie Gail Harris and wife Jenny of Rogers; daughters, Vickie Miller and husband Jeff of Springdale, Linda Mars and husband Steve of Lowell; daughter-in-law Carol Harris of Winslow; grandchildren, Shavonne Mars, Aaron Harris, Jeromie Harris, Joe Harris, Anthony Mars, Jr., Jason Harris, Elizabeth Miller, Dusty Harris, Kynzee Miller, Kamie Harris; great-grandchildren, Lukas, Cortney, Dixie, Avalon and Alucard.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard and Billy Harris; and a son, Jerry Harris.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Rollins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday in the Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Rd, Springdale, 72762.
