Delbert “Bubby” Applegate, 63, of Prescott went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 26, 2024, in Prescott.
He was born January 22, 1961, in Hope, AR to Hilton and Lula Sanders Applegate. Bubby was a truck driver for Tyson Foods for over 30 years, he loved to hunt, and spend time with his children, grandchildren, and friends.
Mr. Applegate was preceded in death by his parents, his wife GeGe Applegate, daughter Jennifer Foster, sister Virginia Clayton, and six brothers, William, Wade, Frankie, Jim, Glen and Albert “Shorty” Applegate.
Survivors include his son, Bryan Applegate (Laura) of Prescott; three daughters Dusty Dougan of Ashdown, Amanda Wheeler (Chris) of Texarkana, and Tiffany Laughard (Chad) of Prescott; Nine grandchildren Scottie Stinson, Mandi Trickel, Jacee “Lip” Love, Jerry Trickel, Sarabeth Wheeler, Tyler Wheeler, Damien Godwin, Serrah Martin, and Lyric Rogers; one great grandchild Waylon Love; a brother Jerry Applegate (Dee) of Spring Hill; a sister Glenda Applegate of Spring Hill; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday October 29, 2024, at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Hope. Chapel services are scheduled for 10:00am Wednesday, October 31, 2024, with Bro. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial will follow at Foster Cemetery in Spring Hill, under the direction of Hernon-Fuqua Funeral Home of Hope.
