David Ray Collins (aka Papa) passed away on October 8th, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born on December 22, 1955 to parents Leroy and Frances Collins of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Preceding him in death are his father Leroy Colling, mother Frances Collins, sister Melissa Collins and brother PeeWee Collins.
David is survived by two daughters he called his own, Tiffany Ready and Sandra Dugan, son in law Shawn Ready and grandchildren Austin Ready, Caitlin Ready, Dakota, Marcus and C.J., a very beloved second mom Phyllis Murphy, and ex-wife Liz Murphy, all of Leola, Arkansas. He is also survived by his sisters Brenda Deases (Raymond) of Woodson, Arkansas and Ellen Collins of Jefferson, Arkansas and many nieces and nephews.
David loved his family, especially his grand babies. David also loved to fish, sometimes from sun up to sun down. He also had a passion for hunting. He spent most of his life in Leola, Arkansas and will be missed by many.
