Ola Smith Webb, 84, of El Dorado passed away Monday, July 24, 2017 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
She was born April 26, 1933 to the late Clarence and Susie Mae Jeter Smith. She worked as a nursing assistant in the newborn nursery for many years, taking care of and rocking babies. She was a life long member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and an active member of the community where she loved and cared for everyone. She loved serving others with her cooking and embroidering.
Ola is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Bill of 45 years, and her brother, Doyce Smith (Marcelle Ogden).
Those left behind to cherish her memory are: her “granddaughters” Whitney Webb (Brian) of Norphlet and Sydney Graves (Wes) of Junction City, LA; “great grandchildren” Caden and Jaci Webb and Kennedy Graves; two nieces Denise Harper (David) of Longview, TX and Lanell Landry (Patrick) of Lake Charles, LA; one nephew David Doyce Smith of Gainesville, GA. Her great nieces Amanda and Stephanie Harper and great nephews Daniel and Ryan Landry
Visitation will be at Perry’s Funeral Chapels on Wednesday, July 26 from 6-8pm.
Services will be at 2pm Thursday, July 27 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with interment following at Craig Cemetery under direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 2175 Pleasant Grove Rd, El Dorado, AR. 71730 or to Life Touch Hospice, 2301 Champagnolle Road, El Dorado, AR 71730.
