*When William Burlin Watkins was born on April 20, 1921, in Conway, Arkansas, his father, William, was 28 and his mother, Ella, was 17. He married Reba McCoy on April 25, 1937, in Conway, Arkansas. He then married Vera Lorene Underwood-Watkins on January 24, 1946, in New Madrid, Missouri. He died on September 19, 1988, in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 67, and was buried in Alexander, Arkansas.
