Thomas Harold Berry, age 92, of Saginaw, TX, formerly of Warren, AR passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 4 at the Marine Creek Assisted Living Complex in Fort Worth, TX. He was born August 14, 1926 in Warren, AR a son of the late Walter Thomas Berry and Olive Grasby Berry. Thomas was a member and former Deacon of First Baptist Church in Camden, AR. His love for God and family sustained him while on earth. He was a Master Mason and a Shriner, he was active in the Gideons, and he was a WWII Army veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. He will be missed by all that knew him. Also preceding him in death was one sister Betty Fran Toney.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 74 years, Betty Jo (Wardlaw) Berry of Saginaw, TX. His four children; Thomas Harold Berry, Jr. and wife Ginger of Frisco, TX, Olivia Jeannette Berry of Saginaw, TX, Richard Alan Berry and wife Denise of Roswell, GA and Beverly Taylor and husband Frank of Fort Worth, TX. Four grandchildren; Cynthia Berry Gangi, Cedar Grove, NJ, Gina Berry, Frisco, TX, Tony Jordan, Saginaw, TX and Eric Greeley, Cleburne, TX. Seven great-grandchildren; Nicholas Gangi, Madeline Gangi, Grace Stafford, Matthew Stafford, Lexington Young, Braiden Anders and Arya Greeley.
Funeral service was 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7 at Frazers Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald Burton officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazers Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Barry Wardlaw, Bob Wardlaw, John Wardlaw, Ryan Gentry, Tony Jordan, and Bill Crow.
