Died July 5, 2016
*Obituary
Caitlin Brooke Horton, 25, left her wheelchair to dance with the Lord on July 1, 2016. Caitlin was the daughter of Terry and Tina Horton, and sister to Makenzi and Buck Horton.
Caitlin was a light to everyone she came in contact with. Her joy was contagious and something to be admired. Caitlin never let her disabilities get her down, which in turn taught her family how to smile despite hardships. She taught lessons of unconditional love, to ignore the limitations that can be put on people with special needs, and how we can be an advocate for people without a voice. She was an incredible person and people loved spending time with her.
She attended school in Whitehall and graduated in 2010. At an early age, Caitlin professed her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized. She faithfully attended Family Church of White Hall.
Every summer Caitlin loved spending a week at Camp Barnabas with all of her friends, and she loved her Tuesday horseback rides at Beyond Boundaries. Every week she looked forward to her Friday Night Date Night with her boyfriend, C.W. Caitlin and her mother spent many Saturday mornings snuggling in bed watching The Pioneer Woman on Food Network.
She participated in The Challenger League Baseball program where she was an inspiration to many people and other children with disabilities. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished and remembered in lives of her family.
Caitlin was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Paul and Barbara Horton, and is survived by maternal grandparents, Milton and Linda Peebles of DeWitt, parents, Terry and Tina Horton, siblings, Makenzi and Buck Horton of Whitehall, aunts and uncles, Angie (Rex) Stocks of Rison, Nikki (Daniel) Vos of Jonesboro, and cousins Ashley and Randall Fox, and Jacob and Whitney Vos, and a host of other extended family. Caitlin is also survived by a very special young man in her life, Chase (CW) Eppinette of Little Rock, and 2 special care givers, Rozalind Ingram and Irish Warfield, both of Pine Bluff.
Please join the family to celebrate her life on Tuesday, July 5th, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Family Church of White Hall, 2500 Hwy 104, White Hall, AR 71602, with Pastor Stephen Harrison officiating.
