*Obituary
W. C. Nutter, age 28 years, died at his home here Saturday night at 10:10 after a week's illness of pneumonia, following an attack of influenza. Funeral services were conducted at the family residence Monday afternoon by Rev. J. A. Henderson. Interment was at DeAnn cemetery. He is survived by his widow, one small daughter, father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Nutter of Hamburg, one sister, Mrs. C. A. Alspaugh of this city, one brother, L. H. Nutter of Hamburg. Mr. Nutter was a member of the firm of Prescott Mercantile Co. His work as manager had been a success. He had won many friends during his stay of two years in Prescott, who will feel his loss keenly. We extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved relatives. (Nevada County Picayune - February 13, 1919)
