Edward Cotton, age 45 passed away at the Prescott Hospital last Friday, where he had been confined for two weeks. He had been sick several weeks, but only recently had been unable to be about. Mr. Cotton was born in England and came to this country with his parents when he was 7 years old. The family settled in Texas, where he lived until a few years ago, when he moved to Emmet. He had been employed as electrician by this city about two years. He is survived by his wife and four small children. The remains were interred in Snell Cemetery Saturday afternoon. Rev. J. A. Sage conducting the services, I.O.O.F. lodge, of which deceased was a member, took part in the services. (Nevada County Picayune - October 13, 1921)
