*When Joshua Elisha Stirman was born on October 5, 1850, in Arkansas, his father, William, was 28 and his mother, Lunetta, was 24. He married Louisa Eliza White on December 28, 1878, in Saline, Arkansas. They had two children during their marriage. He died as a young father on March 28, 1885, in Saline, Arkansas, at the age of 34, and was buried in Haskell, Arkansas.
