Ernest Melvin Essary, 95, of Huntsville; passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at his home. He was born Thursday, October 18, 1928, at San Antonio; to John William and Nancy Laura Tomerlin Essary.
Ernest married Mary Jean Tidwell Essary and together they were parents to two children. Ernest had a passion for growing plants and vegetables. He lovingly tended to his greenhouses and shared his beautiful plants with the community by selling them to Walmart.
Ernest was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Jean Tidwell Essary and his parents, William and Nancy Essary.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Essary of Wichita, Kansas; one son, Bobby Essary of Huntsville, Arkansas, and one daughter Debra J. Allen of Clarksville, Arkansas.
Cremation is entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
