Carolyn Cahill, age 85, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on July 8, 2024. She was born in Louisville, Mississippi on October 11, 1938 to parents Dewey Kelly Barton and Margaret Alice (Massey) Barton who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her sister Joyce Lindsey; her brother-in-law Charles Lindsey; and the father of her children James Cahill Sr.

Carolyn was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church on Baseline Road in Little Rock. She was a very active member of the Arkansas Realtors Association for 40 years. In her youth, Carolyn attended Mississippi University for Women and New York University. She loved animals and always supported her local Humane Society. Carolyn loved her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids more than anything. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

Carolyn is survived by her children David Wayne Cahill, Margaret LeClair, and Joyce Watson (Jim); grandchildren Jamie and Randy Southerland, Brandie Lawson (Charles), Benjamin Jackson (Liz), Ryan LeClair, and Heather Sharp; great-grandchildren Selah, Sophia, James, and Ace Southerland; her brother Kelly Wayne Barton (Loretta); along with a host of extended family and many friends.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:00am. Visitation starts at 10:00am at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Memorials can be sent in Carolyn’s honor to Special Olympics or the

Humane Society of Pulaski County.
