Jun 23, 2024 William D. Lick of McGehee, Ar. passed away on June 23, 2024 at home surrounded by family at the age of 60. He was born in Galliano, LA.
William is preceded in death by his father, Houston Lick Jr., as well as granddaughter Kylee Lick, and grandson Jaden Taylor.
He is survived by his mother Lois Rodman of McGehee, AR., wife Linda of McGehee, AR, brothers Jamie Lick (Wilma) of Greenville, MS., and Danny Lick of McGehee, AR., sister Leah Stokes of Monticello, Ar., daughter Amber Lick of Greenville, MS., son Franklyn Lick (Tosha) of Greenville, MS., daughter Wendy Westmoreland of McGehee, AR. William is also survived by seven grandchildren, Jaylie, Brandon, Journee, Jacob, Molly, Baylee, and Neyland. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, Jordynn, Leanne, and Lennox. William also leaves behind a dear friend, Mary Sass and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
William was an avid fisherman, NASCAR enthusiast, dirt track racer, and a lover of classic rock. He could also have been seen riding around town with his beloved dog and best friend, Deus, the great dane.
A celebration of life will be held at Lake Chicot State Park meeting hall on Friday, June 28th from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Paws & Claws, his favorite charity.
