Larry Eakin, 76, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away January 14, 2019. He was born October 28, 1942, in Gurdon to Doyle Lee and Nettie (Ross) Eakin. Larry served in the U.S. Army and later worked at Walmart for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert Eakin. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Linda Eakin; sons, Kevin Eakin (Sheila) of Hot Springs, Chris Eakin of Cabot; daughter, Leslea Clark (Kenny) of Conway; brother, Butch Eakin (Dorothy); sisters, Shirley McElroy, Lin Watson (Ralph); grandchildren, Alex, Taylor, Riley, Kyle, and Brody. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with a celebration of Larry’s life immediately following at 2:00 p.m. with Brian Ferrell and Julie Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery. Pallbearers include Kenny Clark, Tim Brewer, John McElroy, Ralph Watson, Brian Greeson, and Greg Greeson. “You can see his fingerprints through his family.”
