Jack was a member of the Fort Smith Rose Society, the River Valley Master Gardener Association, and the National Rose Society. After several years of participating in rose shows and receiving many honors, he was asked to be a judge for the National Rose Society and traveled the southern district of the United States judging rose shows.
Jack enjoyed traveling and had been to almost every state in the U.S. and several other countries. He was an ardent fan of Razorback football and basketball and he and Paul Leggett had season tickets for many years.

Jack’s truest wealth was his kindness and gentleness of spirit. On days that you think of him, share a small act of kindness with someone in tribute to Jack. He would like that.
