Lola Lea Cope, 86, of Fort Smith died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at a local nursing home. She was a retired realtor and homemaker and a member of Cavanaugh Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and youth director. She was co-founder of Zeta Zeta Zeta Sorority of Fort Smith and a lifetime member of the Fort Smith PTA. She was a Girl Scouts of America troup leader and volunteer for St. Edward's Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Fiana Hills Ladies Golf Association.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Ivan; two daughters, Jimmie Williams of Oklahoma City and Jane Ann Branch of Fort Smith; one sister, Mildred Blan of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Jason and Jeremy Branch, both of Fort Smith, Bill Nelson of Pine Bluff, Melinda Smith of Mustang, Okla., and Cindy Hall of Ardmore, Okla.; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chad and Jerrod Hall, Kenneth Adams, E.J. Sellers, Jerry Johnson and Kendall Ross.
