John Vernon Greenway, age 94, of North Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020. He was born November 30, 1925 in Blocker, Arkansas. John retired from the military, after serving in the Coast Guard, Navy, and Air Force. John was an active service member during World War II, the Korean War,
and the Vietnam War. John enjoyed baseball, cigars, and playing golf, which he did daily for many years. John placed his faith in Jesus Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Fred & Clara "Lessie" Greenway; four brothers, J.B., Charles, Daniel, and Rogie Greenway and two sisters, Helen Washington and Ruth Williams.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10 at Fowler Cemetery in Paron, AR. Bro. Gregg Greenway will be officiating.
