May 27, 1954 - May 5, 2024
Ricky Joe Goetz, age 69, of Stuttgart passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. He was born May 27, 1954 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late John Leroy Goetz and Ina Mae Goetz-Skinner.
Rickey was a lifetime resident of Arkansas County. He was a welder with Layne Arkansas for over 20 years. When he wasn’t working, he was sure to be found at deer camp, or at the river fishing with friends and family. He had a multitude of longtime friends that he would’ve given the shirt off his back for. After retiring, he loved spending time in his garden, playing fetch with his beloved Boston Terriers and just being outdoors tinkering on things around his house.
He is survived by his daughter Heather Michelle (Brad) Hendrix of Almyra, and son Robert Brent Goetz of Stuttgart. He is also survived by a grandson Blake Sherman Hendrix.
The family-hosted memorial service will be Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Almyra Community Center.
Arrangements by A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com
