*When John Bithel Rogers was born on January 4, 1870, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, his father, William, was 36 and his mother, Cornelia, was 29. He married Ammie McHenry on August 7, 1901, in Hot Spring, Arkansas. They had one child during their marriage. He died on March 8, 1917, in his hometown at the age of 47, and was buried in Paron, Arkansas.
