David A. Perryman, age 84, of Little Rock passed away on May 20, 2014. He was born April 20, 1930 to the late Frederick Oscar and Mary Frances Perryman. He attended Little Rock Vocational High School and served as an Army paratrooper during the Korean War. He was self-employed for many years and later worked and retired as a supervisor at the Pulaski County Solid Waste Disposal Department. He was very talented in construction and automotive repair. David was a member of Rose Hill Nazarene Church and more recently Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alice Perryman; two sons, David Perryman, Jr. and wife Willa of Irving Texas, and Charles Perryman and wife Linda of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Christine Perryman, John Perryman, and Joseph Jarratt; and sister Martha McHughes of Ferndale and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. David was friendly and outgoing and was well known for his favorite saying "Bless your Heart". A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 11:00 A.M., June 14th, 2014 at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ, 10900 Rodney Parham Rd., Little Rock, AR with Nick Hamilton officiating. Visitation with the family will immediately follow the service.
