John Kermit York, age 46, of Pine Bluff, AR. died Monday June 2, 2014 at his home. Born February 21, 1968 in Rison, AR. he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Persian Gulf, former employee of B. & N. railroad and a Baptist.
Survivors are 1 daughter Macy York, Mammoth Springs, AR., his parents John D. York and Barbara Russell Chance both of Pine Bluff, AR. 2 brothers Jonathan York, Cabot, AR., Russell Chance, Rancho Cucamonga, CA. 1 sister Cindy Thomasson, Richmond, KY.
Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Thursday June 5, Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Joe McClellan officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Ronnie Bethea was musician. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jimmy Walker, Pedro Chapman, Larry Chapman, Darrell Allred, Bobby Chance, Bill Walter and James Parker.
