Obituary
Robert Jackson Rounds, 70 of Batesville died Sunday, June 12, 2016. He was born September 3, 1945 at Batesville, Arkansas to Henry James and Dee Marie Maxwell Rounds.

He was retired from ConAgra Frozen Foods in Batesville and was a member of the Vine Street Missionary Baptist Church in Batesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James "Slugger" Rounds, J.B, "Pete" Rounds and Wayne Rounds ; sisters, Inez Cooper, Agnes Smart, Emma Jo Conners, Marma Dean Kimmerling and Sissy Rounds.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Peggy Wood Rounds of the home; son, Robert Jackson "Bob" Rounds Jr. of Newport; daughters, Pam Miller (Gene) of Melbourne and Susan Babb (Johnny A.) of Batesville; brother, Ray Rounds of Newark; sister, Barbara Medley of Senath, Missouri; grandchildren, Krysti Breyette, Robert Jackson Rounds III, Benton Babb, Autumn Babb and Angel Babb; grand dog, Buddy; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Batesville Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Bro. Tony Moser officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaklawn Cemetery located at Batesville.Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Gene Miller, Johnny Babb, Richard Rounds, Hank Rounds, Chuck Kimmerling and Mike Smith.

Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Rounds, Benny Ross and Gary Rounds and his grandsons.
