Vernon D. Campbell, 66, of Barling died July 1, 2010, in Barling.
He was the retired director of environmental compliance with Southern Steel and Wire Holding.
He is survived by three sons, Eric Campbell of Jenny Lind, Aaron Campbell of Fort Smith and Sean Campbell of Hutto, Texas; two brothers, Edward Campbell of Victoria, Texas, and Lattis Campbell of Eagle River, Alaska; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Campbell.
Funeral service was Saturday, July 3 at 1 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park, all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Sean, Eric and Aaron Campbell, Roy McCauley and Jim Eoff.
