Paul Edward Higginbotham, 85, of Cabot, Arkansas, passed away on October 28, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on February 8, 1938 to Ruth Williams Higginbotham and Walter Thurman Higginbotham in Harrisburg, Arkansas.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Noel Higginbotham, Boyd Higginbotham, and Doris Martin.

Paul was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War where he was introduced to working on radio and electronic equipment. After completing his service in the military, he went on to pursue a career in law enforcement, various entrepreneurial endeavors, and ultimately retired from the United States Postal Service in 2020 after serving 30+ years as an electronic technician.

He was a devoted family man, who always put his loved ones first. Paul cherished his wife of over forty years, Leanna, and was a loving and supportive father to his children, Timothy (Courtney) and Paula (Taylor). He is survived by his youngest brother, James. Paul adored his grandchildren; Peyton, Aida, Landry, and Madeleine.

Paul will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his unwavering love and support. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. To honor his memory, pick up an extra shift at work, eat a bowl of ice cream, play a game of Solitaire, or enjoy a nice glass of whiskey.

A private celebration of life will be held to honor Paul’s life and legacy.
