Huttig - Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Avery, 77, of Huttig, who died March 23 in an El Dorado nursing home, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Batts Chapel Church with the Rev. G. F. Abson officiating. Burial will follow in Batts Chapel Cemetery under direction of Union Funeral Home of Farmerville. Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Powell of Strong and Mrs. Hattie Reynolds of San Francisco, Calif.; and a brother, Rufus Jameson of Litroe, La. (El Dorado Times - March 27, 1975)
