Brenda Kay Jarrett, 69, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2022. She was born to, Murray Wayne and Mary Alice Jackson Jarrett, on Saturday, November 15, 1952, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Brenda was a vibrant and fun-loving person. Never a dull moment. She enjoyed hanging out with friends, dancing, playing the slots at the casinos, and traveling. Most importantly, she loved being with her family—especially around the holidays. She cherished those moments. Her daughter and grandchildren were so important to her.
She loved spending time with them any chance she could. Brenda was very accomplished in life. She proudly worked as a Health Information Management Director for over 30 years. She served as President for ArHIMA for a year. She also worked with March of Dimes. If Brenda wasn’t with her friends or family, you could find her gardening and being surrounded by flowers.
Brenda is preceded in death by her mom, Mary Alice Jarrett and her grandmother, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Jackson.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Shawna Bevans; two grandsons, Parker and Logan; father, Wayne Jarrett; brother, Bob Jarrett (Debi); uncle, Fant Jarrett (Leola); aunt, Dezzie Martin; cousins, Carla, Pam, and Donna; best friend, Rosie Killion (Jackie); along with a host of other family and friends who all love her and will miss her presence so much.
Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church: 27025 Kanis Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72223.
