*Obituary
In loving memory of Jewell Due, a much-loved mother, grandmother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on January 25, 1943, in Longbottom, now under Bull Shoals Lake, Jewell was the dear daughter of Herman and Zellaree Due of Peel.

Jewell's life showed her strong will, warmth, and deep love for her family. She was a caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always there for her family. She supported and listened to everyone, truly caring for her family and friends.

Jewell enjoyed her younger days with her horse, Charlie, and loved going to church on Sundays. She also liked going to yard sales and flea markets with her sister Bobbie and her granddaughters Whitney and Brooke. Jewell was full of life and often said, "Well, I deClare!" with joy.

She had a passion for music, singing, and playing guitar. She was part of a local band, bringing happiness to those around her with her songs. Jewell loved to drive, even fast, and would travel far to visit her family.

Starting to work early in life to help her family, Jewell later finished her education by getting her GED, which made her very proud. As a single mom, she worked hard to care for her children, showing strength and kindness.

Jewell was generous and always ready to help or listen. Her laughter and fun times with her great-grandkids Shaine(Shay)and Payton(Pay Pay) will be missed but always remembered.

Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Zellaree, her brothers Wayne and Larry, and her sister Bobbie. She leaves behind her loving children, Steve Due (Tammy) of Pyatt, and Tracy Denise (Steve) of Mountain Home; her grandchildren, Whitney, Garrett, Brooke (Christian), Hunter; great-grandchildren, Shaine and Payton; her brothers, Gary (Michelle) Due and Roger (Vickie) Due; and many nieces and nephews.

Following Jewell's wishes, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be planned later, where family and friends can come together to remember her and the love she shared with everyone.
