James Eric Myers, 74, affectionately known as ” Cowboy” to the residents and staff of ” The Crossing” Assisted Living Facility in Malvern where he resided until October 2023, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023 at the Sheridan Nursing Home in Sheridan, Arkansas with the love of his life, Anita Fern Bartlett, at his side during his final hours.
Mr. Myers is predeceased by his father, Jack Myers, and his mother, Virginia Duncan, and sisters Ginger and Melanie.
He is survived by sisters Kathleen Myers and Malissa Myers, brothers Jack Myers, Jr., Mark Myers, David Myers, and Raymond Duncan, and many nieces and nephews.
A family-hosted memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family wishes to extend the deepest appreciation to the staff and nursing staffs of both ‘ The Crossing ” and the Sheridan Nursing Home for their extraordinary kindness and loving care.
