James Walter May, 73, of Little Rock died Monday, March 12, 2012. He was born January 22, 1939 in El Dorado to Ernest Thomas May and Bessie Mae Culpepper May. James retired in 2002 as a Production Manager for Munsey Products in Little Rock. James had an avid interest in history and believed in life-long learning. Upon retirement, he enrolled in college and spent ten years studying history and religion at Pulaski Tech and UALR. Survivors include son Jeff May and wife Kristi Ylvisaker May of Pleasanton, California; three grandsons, Jake May, Justin May, and Clint May of Pleasanton California; sister Susie Brown of Junction City; sister Bobbie Jean Dollar of Huttig; and brother Ernest May, Jr. of El Dorado. A memorial service will be held this spring at Valley Community Church in Pleasanton, California.
