Bill A. Sims, Sr., aged 74, of Sherwood, went home peacefully to meet Jesus on January 8, 2012. He is preceded by his parents Dalton "Curly" and Pauline Sims. Bill was an Engineer for the Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific Railroads for 40 years. He was a High School All-Star Quarterback for Wilson Matthews, and led the 1956 Little Rock Central Fighting Tigers to an undefeated season and a third ranking nationally. He was also voted Most Handsome in Little Rock Central’s Who’s Who in 1957. His family invites you to celebrate his home going at Bayou Meto Baptist Church, 26200 Hwy. 107 N., Jacksonville, on Saturday, January 14th, at 5 p.m. "Love ya, see ya!"
