Bill Johnson of Hensley, Arkansas passed away on August 11th, 2011 at the age of 68. He is preceded in death by both parents Jack and Goldie Johnson, a brother Dennis Johnson, and his son Steven Johnson. Surviving him are his loving wife of 45 years Marion and his daughter Stephanie Seligman. Also, three grandsons: Christopher Seligman, Blake Swan and Matthew Johnson. A "Celebration of Life" gathering will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20th at his home. Bill was born in Monette, AR on August 15th, 1942, but grew up in Holland, Michigan where he attended Holland High School. He and Marion were married in 1966 in Arkansas where their son Steve was born. Then moved back to Holland, MI where Stephanie was born in 1970. Bill served in the Army and did a tour of Korea. He was a business entrepreneur and had started several small businesses, the last one being Bill’s Vacuum World on Keihl Ave. in Sherwood where he loved making people laugh and took good care of their vacuum needs. He retired in 2009 and found he had cancer the same year. He loved playing Texas Hold’em Poker both in the casino’s and online. So we won’t say goodbye……just "See ya on the other side."
