Pearl retired from the VA Hospital in Little Rock in 1998, after working in ward administration for 28 years and was a member of Woodmen of the World for 17 years. Her greatest joys in recent years were playing Mah Jongg with friends and playing with her great granddaughter, Bailey. Pearl is survived by her children, Karen Proetz, Robert Ward, and Fran Moyer; her grandchildren, Stevie Moyer and Brandi Ritchie; and her great granddaughter, Bailey Proetz. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Frisby, and her brother, Robert McDonald, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. The family will have a memorial gathering for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Pearl’s name to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72116.
