Will Ward, 67, of 1108 E. Wesson St., died Sunday in his home following a brief illness. Born April 15, 1902, in Union County, he was the son of Gilbert and Ida Jones Ward. Mr. Ward is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Jessie Turner, Mrs. Mary Ward, Mrs. Della Thomas and Mrs. Jimmie Lee Ward, all of El Dorado; a brother, John Henry Ward and a step-brother, Eddie Watkins, both of El Dorado. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. G. E. McElroy officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Sims Mortuary.
