James M. Orr, 92 of El Dorado passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.
Born December 27, 1922 in El Dorado, he was the son of Jones Craig and Littie B. Little Orr. Mr. Orr had been a mechanic with Monsanto Chemical and later was the owner of Orr Used Cars. He was member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mr. Orr served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.

Preceding him in death along with his parents were brothers, J. C. Orr, Johnny Orr, Vernon Orr, Truman Orr and Gene Orr along with one sister, Juanita Easley.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Maycel Hendricks Orr, two sons, Ronnie Orr (Patricia) and Don Orr (Renee) all of El Dorado and two daughters, Sue Rainwater (Paul) of Crossett and Nancy Glenn (Mark) of Bossier City, LA. Also surviving is one sister, Zena Mae Pesnell of El Dorado along with grandchildren: Haley Chapman of Georgetown, TX, Matthew Orr (Jennifer) of Tatum, TX, Molly Crosby (Paul), Gainesville, FL, Emily Smith (Brian) of Denver, CO, Lucas Rainwater (Noelle) of Dallas, TX, Jason Rainwater (Kristi) of Little Rock, Allison Townley (Chad) of Keller, TX, Adam Jones (Nikki) of Conway, AR, Nolan Glenn of Bossier City, LA, Kyle Orr (Casey) of El Dorado, Drew Orr (Tabitha) of El Dorado and Kelly Hightower (Will) of Conway, AR There are also 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Young’s Chapel with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until service time on Tuesday at Young’s.

Memorials may be made to the John R. Williamson Hospice House, 2301 Champagnolle Road, or to the Salvation Army, 419 South Madison, El Dorado, AR 71730.

The family wishes to extend special thanks for the special care given by Shonda Ratliff, Leah Lee, Renee Wilson-Robnett and the John R. Williamson Hospice employees. (Young's Funeral Home - El Dorado, Arkansas)
