Dearl "Head" Weatherly, age 59, of Beebe, passed away Thursday, May 13th, 2010. He was born July 11th, 1950 in Austin, Arkansas Dearl was a carpenter and a musician. Everyone who knew him loved to hear him play his guitar and sing. He was a member of the River of Life Church in Judsonia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mattie Stracener Weatherly, brothers: Willis, Joe, Carol, and Russell; sisters Joan Russell and twin siblings Ray and Fay. Dearl is survived by his wife Jackie, sons Kevin and Jason Nicole, Bryce Beverly Woodford, daughters Leigh Anne Sean Seger, Shea Woodford, and 16 grandchildren, brothers Horace, JR and Truman, and sisters Nola Rees, Bernell Wilson, Ruthie Burlison, and Sandra Weatherly. Memorial service will be Sunday, May 16th, at the 16th Section United Methodist Church Hwy 319 West, Austin, AR. at 2:00 p.m. Dearl will be cremated and his ashes scattered over Red Bluff White County where he spent time as a child with his family. Memorial may be made to the River of Life Prison Ministries, 101 Research Dr., Searcy, AR 72143.
