*Obituary
Floyd James Coleman, 69, of Austin, AR, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024. He was born in Brenham, TX, on April 27, 1954. His father, Floyd John Coleman, preceded him in death in 1982.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Coleman; his children, James Coleman (Kim) of Gatesville, TX, Danielle Coleman of Tomball, TX; grandsons, Lane Coleman and Colton Coleman; his mother, Willie Mae Coleman of Belton, TX; sisters, Shirley Youngblood (Larry), of Belton, TX, Charlotte Martin (Victor) of Belton, TX and many much-loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Floyd worked for H-E-B in Texas for 27 years. He also worked for RheinChemie Additives, retiring in 2020.

Floyd enjoyed roaming the Arkansas countryside on the 4-wheeler & side-by-side with his wife, family, and friends. He enjoyed hunting with his son & grandsons, passing on his love of the outdoors. He was an avid Cowboys fan, loved to joke around, and loved Whataburger with extra jalapenos. Floyd was always up for a good game of pool, dominoes, and cards and would play for hours while dodging (accurate) accusations of the occasional cheat. Floyd was loved by many and will be missed.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 2, from 3-5 pm at A Natural State Funeral Service in Jacksonville, AR. A celebration of life will be held in Texas at a later date.

Arrangements by A Natural State Funeral Service 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas 72076. 501-982-3400. Online guestbook available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com
