John L. Whitlow, age 59, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on February 23, 2024. He was born in Altheimer, Arkansas on August 30, 1964 to Hermon Whitlow and Addie B. Gotell.

John is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donell Jackson.

He leaves behind his children Tasha Cribbs and Braylon Jackson; grandchildren Bri’elle Jackson, DaLiyah Cribbs, Sa’Riyah Cribbs, and A’niyah Cribbs; siblings Alex (Brandy) Mackintrush, Aletha Jackson, Ricky (Carolyn) Davis, and Theresa Trent; along with many nieces, nephews, and a host extended family and friends.

John L. Whitlow was baptized in the 1980s at Bear Skin Lake located in Lonoke, Arkansas. He was a skilled welder he applied those skills at OD Funk in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was honored to be a father. He loved his grandchildren and all of his nieces and nephews dearly. He loved to sing and dance and listen to his old school music, especially The Gap Band. He was proud to put his entire family on a pedestal. John Whitlow embraced everyone with a powerful hug, and if you had one you know what we mean. He was a well-dressed man who wore many hats. He will forever be cherished inside of our hearts.
