Rogers -- Doran Skelton, 60, Rogers Daily News since 1958, died yesterday in the Rogers hospital. He was born Dec. 25, 1905 in Hazel Valley. He had operated Skelton Food Center in Rogers and was a member of the board of Deacons of the Baptist Church and was a member of the Rogers Lions Club.
Survivors include the the widow, Mrs. Ruby Orpha Skelton of the home; one daughter, Mrs, Janice Skelton Miller of Napa, Calif.; one son, Bernard S. of Grand Island, Neb., six sisters, Mrs. Doris Cooper of Gravette, Mrs. Nola Kress, Mrs. Bernice Minton and Mrs. Hazel Parrish all of Fort Smith; Mrs. Ruby Schade of Loveland, Calif.; and Mrs. Norma Gabbard of Fayetteville; two brothers, Harold of Springfield, Mo. and James of Siloam Springs and two grandchildren.
Arrangements will be announced by Callison Funeral Home.
